Week 5: Memory Verse
Why This Verse
Genesis 15:6 is arguably the most theologically important verse in Genesis. It establishes that the right relationship with God has always been by faith — not by performance, ancestry, or ritual. Paul quotes it twice in his major letters to show that the gospel is not a new idea but the pattern established with Abraham centuries before the law. Memorizing this verse gives you the root from which the New Testament doctrine of justification grows.
