Week 9: Memory Verse

Why This Verse

Joseph’s last words are not a farewell — they are a prophecy. Dying in Egypt, far from the promised land, he speaks with absolute certainty about what God will do after he is gone. He does not say “I hope God will” or “perhaps God will.” He says “God will surely visit you.” Memorizing this verse gives you the posture of Joseph at the end of Genesis: dying with a forward-looking faith, trusting promises that belong to those who come after you.
